Walter's grape school

Walters Grape School is for anyone who loves a good glass of wine, who is curious and seeks knowledge about wine, and wants insight and understanding of the different grapes, their expression and characteristics.

At Walter's Grape School, we taste specially selected wines, each of which is a good example of some typical and fundamental characteristics of that particular grape and wine style.

You don't need to know anything about wine, but it helps if you enjoy a good glass. What is certain is that wine is a matter of taste and should never be snobbish. The most important thing is that you find what you like, so you'll be equipped to avoid missteps and bad wine experiences the next time you buy wine.

We'll taste classic wines, from classic regions and end with a little surprise.

This time we'll taste the classic B's like Barolo, Brunello, Burgundy and Bordeaux.

The event takes place at Walter at the harbour on Thursday 27 March 2025 at 19.00 and is hosted by our in-house sommelier Helle Riis.

The price is DKK 295,- including wines and snack.
