Walter's grape school

Walter's Grape School is for anyone who enjoys a good glass of wine, who is curious and seeking knowledge about wine, and who wants insight and understanding of the different grapes, their expressions and characteristics.

At Walter's Grape School, we taste specially selected wines, each of which is a good example of some typical and fundamental characteristics of that particular grape and wine style.

You don't need to know anything about wine, but it helps if you enjoy a good glass. What is certain is that wine is a matter of taste and should never be snobbish. The most important thing is that you find what you like, so you'll be prepared to avoid mispurchases and bad wine experiences the next time you buy wine.

We'll taste 6 classic grapes from classic regions and finish with a surprise or two.

The event takes place at Walter's on the harbour on Thursday 2 May 2024 at 19:00 and is hosted by our in-house sommelier Helle Riis.
